ACROSS COLORADO -- Forgot something for Christmas dinner? Need to pick up a stocking stuffer Christmas Eve? It seems like every family has a last-minute purchase that requires a quick trip to the store at the last minute during the holidays.

Here is a list of grocery stores and pharmacies that will be open on Christmas Eve and their hours. Most grocery stores in Colorado will be closed Christmas Day.

However, it is always a good idea to call ahead and make sure the store has the item you're looking for in stock.

Kings Soopers: Open 5 a.m. - 7 p.m. Christmas Eve. Dec. 24; Closed Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

Safeway: Open Christmas Eve. Dec. 24, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Closed Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

Sprouts: Open Christmas Eve., Dec. 24 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Closed Christmas Day Dec. 25.

Walmart: Open 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Dec. 24; Closed Christmas Day Dec. 25.

Whole Foods: Open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24; Closed Christmas Day Dec. 25.
