Mountain Vista High School Plot: Second Teen Pleads Guilty

Sienna Johnson will serve time in a state youth corrections facilities.

The second teen from Mountain Vista High School, charged in a plot to kill fellow students and staff at the school, has pleaded guilty in the case. Sienna Johnson pleaded guilty to a juvenile count of conspiracy to commit murder and one adult count of felony menacing.

Johnson will spend five years in Division of Youth Corrections on the murder conspiracy charge and will not get any credit for time served since her arrest in December 2015.

She will also spend four years on probation on the menacing charge after she serves the five years. After her release, she will also receive mental health treatment. (For more information on this and other local stories, subscribe to your local Patch for breaking news alerts.)

Johnson's co-defendant, Brooke Higgins, pleaded guilty last year and was sentenced in February.

She will spend three years in Youth Corrections and four years of probation.

Johnson, who received credit for 409 days served, will also receive mental health treatment when she is released.

Johnson and Higgins will also not be allowed to contact each other.
