Puppy Stolen From Denver Front Yard [WATCH]

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation seeks help identifying the person(s) captured on video who snatched a puppy from a Denver front yard.

ACROSS COLORADO -- The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help identifying an alleged dognapper. The police agency re-tweeted a surveillance video which appears to show a man snatching a puppy from a Denver front yard.

In the video, taken from the front of the home, a black pickup truck with an elongated cab passes the house once, then turns around and stops in front of a house where a small tan dog is lying on the front sidewalk. A man wearing a red baseball cap with jeans tucked into his cowboy boots, or possibly construction kneepads, gets out of the truck and approaches the pup, who wags its tail a few times and cowers on the sidewalk.

The man picks up the pup and rushes back to the truck, slamming the door and speeding away. The truck, possibly a 2000-2009 Chevy Crew Cab, or Silverado, appeared to have a white sofa or possibly construction materials in the back.
