Apple In U.S. Customs Leads To $500 Fine For Arvada Woman
An Arvada woman said she was given an apple snack on her flight from Paris, customs agents confiscated it and fined her.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- An Arvada woman was fined $500 by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and will lose her Global Entry Status after an apple snack given to her on a flight from Paris was discovered in her bag by a customs agent.
A CBP agent found the apple in Crystal Tadlock's bag, she told Fox31 News.
“He had asked me if my trip to France was expensive and I said, ‘Yeah.’ I didn’t really get why he was asking that question, and then he said, ‘It’s about to get a lot more expensive after I charge you $500,'” Tadlock told the station.
