Arvada Coronavirus Update: 44 New Cases Confirmed
Here's the latest news and a breakdown of the case counts in Arvada.
ARVADA, CO — Over the past two weeks, at least 44 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Arvada, according to the latest public health data. The latest case counts show that the rate of confirmed cases in Adams and Jefferson counties has seen an uptick.
As of Tuesday, there have been at least 475 cases in Arvada since the outbreak began.
The rate of infection per 1,000 residents in Arvada is 4.05, up from 3.78 last week, according to Jeffco Public Health.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, there have been 4,185 cases of the new coronavirus in Adams County, and 2,682 cases in Jefferson County.

Denver, Arapahoe and Weld counties consistently have the highest overall number of cases in the state; however over the past week, Logan, Morgan and Saguache counties have had the highest case rates per 100,000 people.
As of Tuesday, 32,715 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Colorado among 324,632 people who have been tested since the outbreak began, health officials confirmed. Around 5,489 people have been hospitalized, and the death toll among people who tested positive for COVID-19 has reached 1,690.
