Arvada Firefighter Gets Down In 'Git Up Challenge'

ARVADA, CO — It takes talent and grit to become a firefighter ... but dance talent? One local firefighter is showing off his moves in a new video as part of the #GitUpChallenge.

The Arvada Fire Department posted the dance video on Facebook Thursday.

“We couldn’t help ourselves from joining the craze! Here is firefighter Miller doing the #GitUpChallenge,” the department said in the post.

Based on a song by Blanco Brown, "The Git Up," the challenge has gone viral. Brown even posted a tutorial showing how to do the moves. The YouTube video, which was posted in May, has more than 5 million views.
