The city's Festivals Commission said <a href="http://arvadafestivals.com/independence-day-celebration/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">costs for security and parking were too high</a> and they found it difficult to find enough interest among volunteers and food vendors.The Stenger Sports Complex fireworks display is a tradition since 1979, the city said.
