ARVADA, CO — The City of Arvada is sending new postcards to residents whose council districts changed in March after incorrect information was included in a previous round of postcards. The Arvada City Council approved an ordinance March 18 redrawing council district boundaries to accommodate recent population changes ahead of the regular election Nov. 5. Some residents now reside in a different district than they did prior to the adoption of the ordinance.

"Please rest assured that Jefferson County has the correct Council district information, and ballots will be mailed accordingly," Arvada officials said in a statement.

The city will hold an election Nov. 5 for mayor, one at-large councilmember, and District 2 and District 4 councilmembers. The mayor and at-large seat will be on all ballots for Arvada registered voters. The District 2 and District 4 seats will be only on ballots sent to those respective districts.
