Arvada's 2020 Neighborhood Grants: How To Apply
Residents planning a neighborhood clean up, block party or other event are invited to apply for a grant. Here's how.

ARVADA, CO — The City of Arvada is inviting residents to build close communities through several types of grants, which can be used for ice cream socials, neighborhood clean-ups, event kick-offs and block parties.
All grants are "available until funds run out," city officials said.

Up to $100 Know Your Neighbor Grant
- May be used for block parties, event kick-offs, neighborhood clean-ups, ice cream socials, or other functions that build connections between neighbors.
- Awarded as a pre-loaded $100 King Soopers gift card for block parties or a $50 Home Depot gift card for neighborhood clean-up events.

$25 Neighborhood Printing Assistance Grant
Neighborhood Printing Assistance Grants are open to enrolled Neighbors Connected groups. The city provides a $25 printing assistance through the city's print shop for printing flyers and posters to publicize neighborhood events. This equates to 75 pages in color, or 500 pages in Black & White.
- Apply at least three weeks before the date needed.
- Provide file to Neighborhood Engagement Coordinator by email, USB, or physical copy.

$250 Neighborhood Small Activity Grant
Neighborhood Small Activity Grants are open to enrolled Neighbors Connected groups. These grants are up to $250, and can be used to develop your neighborhood group and organize larger neighborhood events.
- Examples include: entertainment for a festival, neighborhood t-shirts, neighborhood sports tournament, or even supplies for a front lawn happy hour with neighbors.
