Boardwalks Built Along Trails At North Table Mountain Park
The new boardwalks were installed over wet and muddy trails, parks officials said.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — Jeffco Open Space posted a video Wednesday of new boardwalks at North Table Mountain Park.
The virtual tour shows a section of the park, dubbed "the mud lab," which is designed for testing different trail building techniques to manage wet and muddy trails, parks officials said.
"The intent was to add features along this stretch of trail to make it more resilient during seasonal muddy trail conditions, ideally keeping the trail open year round," parks officials said.
