Body Found Near Pomona High School, Arvada, IDed UPDATE

ARVADA, CO -- Arvada Police reported that a man's body was found in a park Monday morning. Jill McGranahan, a spokesperson for Arvada Police, told reporters the body was found in Rainbow III Park near Pomona High School and the intersection of Yarrow Street and West Pomona Drive.

The man was found unresponsive in the park, police said. Police said the incident was being treated as a death investigation and did not say if it was considered a homicide. The man was identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's office as Larry Gutierrez, 52, of Arvada.
