Boulder County Manhunt Ends With Arvada Arrests

Four people are in custody after authorities launched a search for vehicle theft suspects at Rock Creek Farm.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Four people are in custody after law enforcement agencies conducted searches Tuesday in Boulder County. More than a dozen patrol cars were parked outside the Rock Creek Farm in Broomfield during the search, which began just after 4 a.m., according to Lafayette police.

Two of the suspects were taken into custody just after 11 a.m., but the other two remained at large until they were arrested around 12:30 p.m., authorities said.

Police officers were called to the 600 block of Lafayette Drive near Rock Creek Farm after witnesses saw suspects breaking into vehicles in the area, according to the Lafayette Police Department. One of the witnesses followed the suspects and reported hearing gunshots, authorities said.

Officers pulled over a vehicle in connection with the break-ins, but suspects who were inside the vehicle jumped out and ran off near Rock Creek Farm, police said. Two of the suspects were captured, and the other two were later taken into custody in Arvada.

All roads in the area near the farm reopened by 11 a.m.
