City Of Arvada Announces $2.5 Million In Support Of Businesses
The city is launching the Arvada Emergency Business Recovery Initiative.

ARVADA, CO — The City of Arvada announced a $2.5 million fund for businesses Friday amid the spread of the new coronavirus. The city is launching the Arvada Emergency Business Recovery Initiative, which includes the creation of an Emergency Small Business Loan Fund.
Arvada businesses with fewer than 50 employees will be able to apply for interest-free “bridge loans” of up to $10,000. The loans are intended to help small businesses stay afloat until the federal funds flow into the community.
The city has partnered with the Arvada Economic Development Association and the Arvada Urban Renewal Authority to fund the program.

Small businesses can begin applying for the Emergency Small Business Loan Fund at 8 a.m. on Monday.

The initiative also offers sales tax and utility payment plans, streamlined regulatory processes and additional commercial lending options.
