The City of Arvada and their contractor, T & M Construction, completed Phase One of the Ralston Road Reconstruction Project in July 2021. Phase One of this project reconstructed Ralston Road between Upham and Yukon Streets. Construction began in February 2020. Phase Two of this project commenced in June 2021 and will take approximately two years to complete.

This project was funded in part with a grant from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG). The remaining funding was provided by the City of Arvada. Ralston Road Phase One was not part of the City’s 2018 bond measure. Ralston Road Phase Two and W 72nd Avenue Widening Projects are being funded by the 2018 bond.

Project Background and Description
The reconstruction of Ralston Road is an ambitious two-phase project to widen this important corridor and provide sustainable infrastructure for the area. Phase One of the project addressed roadway, accessibility, pavement conditions, and aesthetic upgrades from Upham to Yukon Streets.
