City Of Arvada Seeks Applicants For Boards And Commissions

"Residents looking to have a voice in the public policy and decisions that affect Arvada are encouraged to apply," Arvada officials said.

ARVADA, CO — The City of Arvada is recruiting residents for volunteer positions on boards, commissions and committees that help shape public policy. Some boards are quasi-judicial and have decision-making powers within their areas of expertise and some are advisory boards, officials said.

In a public notice, the city said officials "rely heavily on citizen volunteers to study special community issues, provide staff direction, obtain public comment on key projects and take action or offer recommendations to City Council on any number of matters."
