ARVADA, CO — The City of Arvada is updating its land development code, which will help shape where residents live, work and play. The current code was approved in 2008; however, despite updates, the regulations are now out-of-date, officials said.

A review of current issues is needed to make sure the land development code "provides the best zoning and land use approaches" for the future of Arvada, city officials said.

The code establishes zone districts for residential, commercial, mixed-use and industrial land use classifications.
