Driver Arrested For DUI After Hitting Student: Arvada Police
A person drove onto a sidewalk and struck a student who was walking home, Arvada police said.
ARVADA, CO — A person was arrested Friday after driving onto a sidewalk and hitting a student who was walking home, according to the Arvada Police Department. The driver faces DUI charges, police said.
The student was struck near West 58th and Dover Street. The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening.
The name of the driver has not been released.
