'Drugs May Be A Factor' In Auto-Pedestrian Death: Arvada Police
A pedestrian was killed when a vehicle veered from the roadway near Pomona and Quay Drives yesterday. Police say drugs might be involved.

ARVADA, CO -- Drugs may have impaired the driver of a vehicle that veered from the roadway and killed an Arvada man Wednesday, Arvada Police said in a statement. Nathan Osburn, 42, was walking in the area of Pomona and Quay Drives around 4:15 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Troy Glassford, 39, swerved while traveling east on Pomona, leaving the roadway, police said.
Glassford's car crashed into a wooden privacy fence and shed in the 8200 block of Quay Dr., before striking Osburn who was pronounced dead at the scene.
"While the investigation is on-going, drugs are considered a factor," Arvada Police Public Information Officer Jill McGranahan said in a statement.
