How To Sign Up For CodeRed Alerts In Arvada
As more people stay indoors amid the spread of COVID-19, it's important for residents to know how to sign up for county emergency alerts.
ARVADA — Many counties in Colorado, including Adams and Jefferson counties, have launched state-of-the-art notification systems to warn residents of emergencies. County officials are reminding residents to sign up for CodeRED alerts.
The system is designed to send alerts about floods, fires, chemical spills, dangerous suspects, evacuations, disasters and other emergencies.
While many counties use the CodeRED emergency notification system, some governments use a different system, such as Arapahoe County's ArapAlert.
