Jeffco Schools Board Candidates Forum To Be Held In Arvada

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — A Jeffco Public Schools Board candidates forum will be held this week in Arvada. The school district will have two of its five Board of Education seats open for election Nov. 5: Director District 3 and Director District 4. Residents will vote on all candidates and choose one per director district.

Hosted by the Arvada Chamber, this week's forum will be held on Friday, Oct. 18 from 7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. For more information contact the Arvada Chamber.

The Board of Education is composed of five members, elected to alternating four-year terms. Board members receive no pay; they give freely of their time to serve the community.
