ARVADA, CO — A man is accused of driving onto a sidewalk and striking a 10-year-old girl Friday in Arvada. The girl was seriously injured, but she's expected to survive, according to the Arvada Police Department.Jose Manuel Morales-Reyes, 50, faces felony charges of vehicular assault and leaving the scene of a serious injury accident. He drove a 1998 Jeep Cherokee onto a sidewalk at West 58th Avenue and Dover Street and hit the young student around 3:30 p.m., according to police.
