Man Accused Of Filming Child In Bathroom Of Westminster Church

A man was arrested for filming a child in a bathroom, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.

WESTMINSTER, CO — A man is accused of filming a youth in the bathroom of a Westminster church, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.

Aaron Robbins, 35, was arrested Tuesday and faces charges of sexual exploitation of a child and invasion of privacy for sexual gratification.

Deputies said Robbins followed someone into a bathroom at the Tri-City Baptist Church Oct. 27. Robbins then held a phone under the wall of a stall while the person used the toilet, the sheriff's office said.

Investigators said Robbins may have filmed others in bathrooms at the church and in department store bathrooms, deputies said.

Robbins is being held on $20,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for Nov. 13.
