Man Arrested In Connection With Assault At Arvada Store
Brian Webster, 37, is accused of holding an Arvada store employee at knife point.

ARVADA, CO — A man has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping and assault Monday evening at a clothing store in Arvada, police announced Tuesday. An Arvada officer recognized the man the next day and he was arrested.
Brian Webster, 37, faces charges of kidnapping, assault and menacing, police said.
Webster went into the store, at 7310 W.52 Ave., and began acting suspiciously, authorities said. When an employee approached him, he pulled out a knife and forced her to walk to the front of the store, police said.

The woman was able to get away with minor injuries, police said.

Webster is being held at the Jefferson County Jail.
