Man Charged In Connection With Deadly DUI Crash In Arvada
Alan Russell Brazulis, 32, is accused of vehicular homicide in the death of 41-year-old Griffin Korosec.

ARVADA, CO — A man is accused of causing a deadly crash in Arvada that left one woman dead and a family of four injured.
Alan Russell Brazulis, 32, faces multiple counts, including vehicular homicide - DUI, child abuse, vehicular assault and driving without a license, the 1st Judicial District Attorney's Office said.
On July 26, an Arvada police officer was driving west on Oberon Road behind a Toyota 4 Runner, when he saw a white Pontiac coming towards him in the wrong lane, the DA's office said. The Pontiac, driven by Brazulis, collided with the 4 Runner, according to officials.

Griffin Korosec, 41, was a passenger in Brazulis' car and she died in the crash.
There was a family of four in the 4Runner — two adults and two young children — all of whom were injured.

An arrest warrant was issued for Brazulis on Sept. 18, and he was arrested Sept. 22 in Grand Junction, the DA's office said. He was taken to Jefferson County Jail, and his first court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 1.
