Man Shot, Killed In Arvada; 1 In Custody

ARVADA, CO — A man is in custody after a deadly shooting Saturday in Arvada, police said. The man was fatally shot around 4:45 p.m. at a home in the 7800 block of Marshall Street, according to the Arvada Police Department.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Raymond Jutting, police said. He was arguing with his cousin, Isiah Bennett, 24, who shot him multiple times in the home's front yard, according to police.

Neighbors heard the gunshots and called 911. Officers and personnel with the Arvada Fire Department tried to save Jutting's life but were not successful.

Bennett faces first-degree murder charges. He's being held at the Jefferson County Jail.
