Man Stops Attempted Carjacking In Arvada: Report
An Arvadan was able to stop a man who was trying to steal his car, KVDR reported.

ARVADA, CO — An Arvada concealed-carry permit holder thwarted an attempted carjacking Aug. 28 in a store parking lot, KVDR reported.
A man was putting away his groceries around 12:30 p.m. outside the King Soopers at 58th and Independence, when another man walked up to him, demanded his car keys, and pulled out a gun, according to the report.
The Arvadan tossed his car keys several feet away, which gave him a chance to pull out his own gun, KVDR reported. The would-be carjacker then ran away.
