Mountain Lion 'Activity' Reported At North Table Mountain
Jefferson County Open Space has issued a warning.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — Mountain lion 'activity' has been reported at North Table Mountain in Jefferson County, park rangers announced Tuesday morning.
"Be aware of your surroundings. Leash your pets. Stay calm. Stand your ground," the warning read.
"Don't run. Be big and loud. If attacked, fight back."

No further details about the type of mountain lion 'activity' that was reported were released.
Unleashed dogs are at "greater risk of negative interactions with lions," parks officials said.

If you see a mountain lion, stop, make yourself look big, and back away, Jeffco Open Space said.
