Mountain Lion Kitten Spotted Up Tree In Arvada
This little mountain lion kitten was seen hanging out in a tree in Arvada.

ARVADA, CO — A mountain lion kitten was spotted up a tree near the Ralston Creek Trail on Saturday in Arvada.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife Officers were called to the trail after they received reports of the lone kitten with no mother in sight.
"Wildlife officers assessed the kitten quickly before letting it go," the wildlife agency said in a tweet.

"It will likely reunite with its mother overnight."
The kitten was between 5 and 8 weeks old and in "fair body condition," officers said.

The exact location of where the kitten was seen along the trail was not released.
Never approach a mountain lion of any age, particularly one that is feeding or is with kittens, Colorado Parks and Wildlife says on its website.
"Most mountain lions will try to avoid a confrontation. Give them a way to escape," the website says.
