New Sierra Store To Open In Wheat Ridge

WHEAT RIDGE, CO — The retailer Sierra is set to open a new 17,300-square-foot store in Wheat Ridge this month. The new store will sell clothing, footwear and gear for the outdoors.

Sierra will hold its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 12, at its new Applewood Village Shopping Center location, 3600 Youngfield St.

To celebrate the grand opening, Sierra has hidden $2,500 worth of gift cards at a nearby location. To get the coordinates for the cards' exact spot, customers can come to the Wheat Ridge location on grand opening day starting at 8 a.m. The store will be open until 10 p.m. for the celebration.

Sierra offers active and outdoor apparel, footwear and gear for running, yoga, camping and hiking.

The new store is hiring full- and part-time associates in Wheat Ridge.

In celebration of its new Wheat Ridge location, Sierra is donating $10,000 to KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit dedicated to offering kids fun, safe places to play.

The new Sierra location will be open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
