Person In Custody After 'Waving A Gun Around' In Arvada: Police
A SWAT team was called to the Garrison Lakes neighborhood after a person was seen "waving a gun around," police said.
ARVADA, CO — A person was taken into custody Tuesday after they were seen with a gun in Arvada's Garrison Lakes neighborhood, police said.
Officers were called to Garrison Street and West 52nd Avenue around 3:15 a.m. They found the person "waving a gun around" and screaming, "shoot me," according to the Arvada Police Department.
A SWAT team was called to the area, and officers used tactical gas canisters to subdue the person, police said.
