Smash-And-Grab Spree Hits 8 Arvada Businesses

ARVADA, CO – Eight Arvada businesses were broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning by people throwing large rocks through plate-glass windows, Arvada police said.

Det. Dave Snelling, Arvada police spokesperson confirmed that boxes of ammunition were stolen from the Arvada Army Navy Surplus store at 5701 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., as reported early Thursday by KDVR.

It was unclear what was stolen from other stores, as they had not made complete inventories, Snelling said.

The first police calls came into the JeffCom dispatch center around 2:25 a.m., Snelling said.

Police-obtained surveillance video showing a white sedan and several alleged thieves, who were captured on film.

The locations hit were:

• Majestic Liquor Majestic Liquor 12385 West 58th Ave.
• Simms Pipe and Tobacco 11651 West 64th Ave.
• Overseas European Grocery 10372 Ralston Rd.
• Army Navy Surplus 5701 Olde Wadsworth Blvd.
• Arvada Laundry 11651 West 64th Ave.
• Domino's Pizza 5804 Ward Rd.
• Four-Hands Massage 2355 West 58th Avenue #B,
• Donut Time 10370 Ralston Rd.
