Tire Slashing Spree In Westminster And Lakewood: Police
Metro Denver neighbors have been waking up to slashed tires on dozens of cars. Police seek answers.

WESTMINSTER, CO -- Police say incidences of tire-slashing vandalism have been discovered this week in metro Denver suburbs.
Westminster police reported a wave of tire slashing at Sunset Ridge Apartments off of Sheridan Boulevard. This was the second round for some families, as an earlier incident occurred a few weeks ago.
"One of my neighbors over there, he had three slashed," one resident told KDVR Tuesday. Locals are starting to refer to the "Sunday slashers" because the events seem to have occurred on Sunday. One family spent more than $800 for repeat replacement of tires on their cars.
