Volunteers Needed For Arvada Homelessness Count
Each year, the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative conducts its Everyone Counts 'Point in Time' survey.
ARVADA, CO — The City of Arvada is seeking volunteers to help determine the number of homeless people in the community. The city is participating in the Comprehensive Homeless Count, a survey by the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative.
The Everyone Counts 'Point in Time' annual survey will offer a "snapshot" of homelessness Jan. 27 and Jan. 28, organizers said. The initiative is a collaboration between seven counties in metro Denver.
Each survey volunteer is required to attend a two-hour training session. View the training schedule here.
