"We are trying our best to line the streets near Faith Bible Chapel," organizers said on the event website. "We would love to see lots of children and families if possible."

The exhibit is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., and is accompanied by a mobile Education Center. The memorial will be open 24 hours a day with special lighting for nighttime viewing, organizers said.

The replica was unveiled on Veterans Day in 1996, and has since visited nearly 600 communities throughout the country.

The names of more than 58,000 service members who died in the Vietnam War are inscribed on the wall. Name rubbings can also be etched with pencil as keepsakes for friends and family.
