Lockouts Lifted At Weber Elementary, Pomona High School
Two Arvada schools were placed under lockout Tuesday afternoon during police activity, authorities said.
ARVADA, CO — Lockouts have been lifted at two Arvada schools after a person was arrested, police said. The lockouts were issued early Tuesday afternoon at Weber Elementary and Pomona High School, according to the Arvada Police Department.
Officers and patrol cars pulled up near 81st Avenue and Ammons Street early Tuesday afternoon, and police issued the lockouts as a precaution.
Police haven't released any details about why the person was taken into custody or the nature of the investigation.

Police sent a tweet at about 3:45 p.m. announcing the lockouts were lifted.
