Westminster Armed Robbery: Denver Police Seek Suspect

WESTMINSTER, CO -- A Westminster eyeglasses shop was robbed Tuesday by a man who had earlier carjacked a vehicle in Denver, police said. Denver police said he carjacked a vehicle, displaying a weapon from a woman in the 400 block of South Cherokee Street around 8:50 in the morning. At 12:30 p.m., the police said the same man was caught on surveillance cameras robbing the Lens Crafters in the 10400 block of Town Center Drive.

He is seen in one photo holding a cash register tray.

The man was described as a white male, 35-45 years old, 5’11” – 6’ tall, weighing around 200 lbs, with a bald head. The suspect has tattoos on his right fingers.
