Here are the top stories today in Boulder:
- Boulder paying $1.3M for past police problems. The City of Boulder's on the hook for yet another million-dollar settlement – the second in the past month. Police fired fired 10 shots at Cole Stewart and delayed medical care in 2014. The lawsuit filed in 2019, was settled this week, pending City Council approval. (Boulder Beat)
- Town of Superior adding additional electric car chargers. Drivers used to be able to charge up for free, but with the installation of new chargers in Superior, users will now have to pay a fee to fill up their electric vehicles. (CPR)
- Arts Fest on Pearl Street turns downtown into a giant art exhibition. This year's Arts Fest is hosting a pilot program in partnership with Boulder County Arts Alliance that will include artist demos with local artists. (CO Daily)
- Boulder Public Library seeking vendor to revive the cafe at the main library. The Boulder Public Library is offering a deal to the right vendor to restart a cafe at the main library. As part of the deal, the library is offering a $500 annual lease of the space. (Yahoo!)
- What to do if you or your pet is bitten by a rattlesnake. With the recent death of a 4 year-old from a rattlesnake bite, Colorado Parks and Wildlife has released a list of what to do — and what not to do — after a rattlesnake bite. (Coloradan)
