10-Year-Old Boy Killed In UTV Accident In Boulder County

A boy was in a utility vehicle when it tipped over in a farm field, officials said.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — A 10-year-old boy was killed in a utility vehicle accident in Boulder County Thursday, authorities said. The vehicle tipped over in a farm field, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrived at the 3000 block of North 63rd Street at about 4:45 p.m. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four other children who were riding in the utility vehicle weren't injured, the sheriff's office said.

The 10-year-old boy's name has not been released, pending notification of his entire family.

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office was investigating the crash with Colorado State Patrol.
