2 Men Face 67 Charges After Crimes In Boulder, Park Counties
Two men are accused of burglaries, vehicle thefts and other crimes, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Two men face 67 felony charges and 20 misdemeanor charges after a crime spree in Boulder County, Park County, Broomfield and Golden, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said. The men are accused of residential burglaries, vehicle thefts, thefts over $35,000 and vehicle trespassing, officials said.
Tanner Valdez, 26, and Matthew Moore, 25, were taken into custody in connection with 39 cases that authorities began investigating last summer. Valdez was already serving a five-year prison sentence for vehicle theft.
The men are accused of breaking into homes, unlocked garages and unlocked vehicles, the sheriff's office said. In some cases, the vehicles were stolen.

A total of 20 of the cases were from Boulder, 11 were from the sheriff's office, three were from Broomfield and one each were from Golden, Park County, Lafayette, Erie and Nederland.

Authorities said Moore was found in a stolen vehicle in Erie July 17 and arrested by Wheat Ridge police.
An arrest warrant was issued July 10. Valdez is being transferred to the Boulder County Jail to face the new charges against him.
