2 People Shot In Boulder's Lower Chautauqua Neighborhood

Two people were injured in a shooting Friday, Boulder police said.

BOULDER, CO — Two people were hospitalized Friday after a shooting in Boulder, police said.

Officers were called to a home in the 900 block of 14th Street around 11:30 p.m., where they found two people with gunshot wounds. A gun was found in the area, according to the Boulder Police Department.

The victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The two were later interviewed in the investigation, police said.

Detectives have identified a suspect, who is cooperating with investigators, police said.

"The Boulder PD is not looking for a suspect and there does not appear to be an ongoing threat to the community," a police news release read.

No further details about the case were released.
