Here are the top stories today in Boulder:
- Boulder County part of carbon reduction project. Launched by leaders in Boulder County and Flagstaff, AZ, the 4 Corners Carbon Coalition (4CCC for short) has a goal of stimulating the development of projects that remove carbon dioxide from the environment. This week, the collaboration announced two more cities, Salt Lake City, Utah and Sante Fe, NM, will join the coalition. (KSL)
- Brewing Market Coffee employees vote to unionize. Workers at Boulder, Longmont and Lafayette Brewing Market locations ratified the union vote, and will now be part of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Mills International Union Local 26. The workers sought joining a union for better working conditions, pay and benefits. (DF)
