911 Calls For Dummy Hanging From Boulder Home
Boulder Police said they fielded emergency calls about a man hanging from a roof, but it was a mannequin in a humorous holiday display

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder Police released a photo of a humorous holiday display in the north end of town that caused a number of phone calls to their emergency line. The display portrays a holiday light catastrophe with what appears to be a man hanging from the roof, a string of drooping Christmas lights and a ladder. But on closer look, the hapless homeowner is really a dummy.
"Thankfully, the Griswoldian scene in the 1100 block of Forest Street is merely an elaborate Christmas decoration," wrote Daily Camera reporter Mitchell Byars.
Byars reported that several people, including a school bus full of children that passed the scene, made emergency call to Boulder Police 911 call center about the scene.
