- People in Boulder should be masking because of high COVID-19 rates. Boulder County Public Health department has sent out an advisory encouraging residents and visitors to wear a mask in public, as the county's COVID-19 rates have surged during the first two weeks of December. (Westword)
- CU's investments in fossil fuels targeted after climate summit. The University of Colorado has an estimated $270 million stake in fossil fuels, which activists say puts the school in a strange predicament, as it promotes itself as a very green, environmentally focused university. (CU Independent)
- Colorado's in no hurry to ban cars that burn fossil fuels. Despite other states like California setting hard deadline to end the use of vehicles that are powered by fossil fuels, Colorado opts for an Electric Vehicle (EV) incentive program. (CPR)
- Jury awards $353 million in DUI death of pro cyclist Gwen Inglis. A Jeffco jury has awarded $353 million in damages to the estate of Gwen Inglis and her husband Michael. The case that stems from an accident where a pro cyclist was hit and killed by an impaired driver last year. Ryan Montoya, who was driving under the influence, plead guilty earlier this year and was sentenced to eight years in prison. (FOX31)
