All-Clear Given For 2 Boulder Valley Schools After Lockout
University Hill Elementary and New Vista High School were briefly on lockout while Boulder police were in the area, BVSD said.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Two schools in the Boulder Valley School District were on lockout Thursday afternoon while police officers and patrol cars were in the area, the district said.
University Hill Elementary and New Vista High School were on lockout, the district announced around 1:15 p.m.
"During a Lockout, students involved in outside activities are brought indoors," district officials said in a tweet. "Learning and other activities continue as normal. Students are being kept on campus."

Then around 1:30, the district said the lockout ended.
"We have received word from Boulder Police that the situation has been resolved. All schools are returning to normal operations."
