- City of Boulder planning on tackling ban on natural gas hookups this year. According to Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett, revising the city's building code is on the agenda this year. Those revisions could include Boulder City Council making a move toward requiring all-electric construction in new buildings. (Reporting Lab)
- Yesterday's snowstorm provides lots of fender benders and I-70 closure east of I-470. Most of the metro area was on a crash alert during day as a result of the icy and snowy roads from the storm. (Patch)
- Specialized buys former Pearl Izumi HQ in Louisville. Specialized Bicycle Components has purchased the office building previously owned by Pearl Izumi. The purchase price was $14.9 million, as the company indicated that they had outgrown their current space in Boulder and plan to use the building as an innovation center. (Bicycle Retailer)
- Along with a revamp of the football program at CU, will Coach Prime launch new uniforms too? During an interview, Coach Prime suggested that new uniforms were on the docket, teasing that "we're going to order more uniforms. I want more changes than Lady Gaga." (USA Wire)
- Yet another library in Colorado tests positive for methamphetamine residue. Some libraries and public facilities are making sure their buildings are safe for the public. Recently, the Littleton Library did the testing, and discovered that one of their libraries had the same issues as Boulder and Englewood. (CO Sun)

Love.
