Another Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Metro Denver, Boulder

Another round of snowfall is expected in Denver's metro area and Boulder Monday night and early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Between 5 and 9 inches of snow will fall overnight in the Front Range foothills and over the Palmer Divide.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued in metro Denver and Boulder from 5 p.m. Monday until 2 a.m. Tuesday.

"As the snow increases this evening, snow is expected to begin accumulating on roadways. Light to moderate snow is expected through about midnight, with lighter amounts after that," the alert read. "Plan on slippery road conditions."

The advisory has been issued for Boulder, Denver, Arvada, Golden, Lakewood, Longmont, Aurora, Brighton, Littleton, Highlands Ranch and Parker.

"The evening commute should be largely unaffected by the weather, but travel later in the evening and during tomorrow morning's commute may be impacted by snowpacked and icy roads," a National Weather Service update read.
