Back Country Skier Rescued In Boulder County
A skier was rescued Sunday from the Meadow Mountain Trail, Boulder County officials said.
BOULDER COUNTY, CO — A 32-year-old woman was rescued Sunday from a trail in Boulder County, officials said. The woman was back country skiing on the Meadow Mountain Trail near Forest Service Road 116.
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call around 1:22 p.m., and rescue crews launched a search on two snowmobiles, officials said. The personnel were able to find the woman, who had suffered a leg injury. She was taken out by a snowmobile to get medical treatment.
Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, Allenspark Fire Department and the United States Forest Service also helped to coordinate the evacuation.
