1. Boulder's City Council considers expanded inclusionary housing program. The City of Boulder is considering how to update the existing inclusive housing program that would provide additional dollars for affordable options for middle-income residents. (Real Property)
2. New plan forming to protect water reservoirs on Colorado River. Public input is sought for three options being proposed by the U.S Department of the Interior to sustain both Lake Mead and Lake Powell from drying up. (CO Sun)
3. Colorado ending its pandemic rental assistance program. The state's short-term rental assistance program launched during the pandemic, and helped more than 36,000 households is set to end its the rental assistance program. (CPR)
4. No one is expecting a big snow year, not even the scientists. Climate scientists are predicting a warmer and drier winter in Colorado. The continuation of the La Niña conditions, for the third year in a row, will put the state at greater risk of wildfire and reduce the changes of rebounding from the ongoing megadrought. (PHYS)

• Pedestrian Underpasses on 30th Street getting closer to completion. Construction is progressing on the 30th St. and Colorado Avenue bike and pedestrian underpass. You can check out drone footage here: (Boulder)
• Bike Trails open: All Erie Singletrack Trails at Sunset Open Space are open as of Friday, Oct. 28. Some trails may still be muddy so please be cautions while riding in these areas. (BMA)
