Blue Ribbon Schools: Summit Middle Charter School Makes The List

A total of 362 schools in the U.S. earned the coveted title for 2019.

BOULDER, CO — According to the Department of Education, being named a Blue Ribbon school ā€œaffirms the hard work of educators, families and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content.ā€

A total of 362 schools earned the title.

Each school that earns the award is either among the highest performing schools in a state or among the highest performing in closing the achievement gap.

A ceremony honoring the schools will be held in Washington D.C. in November.
