U.S Congress District 2 Democratic Primary

Joe Neguse and Mark Williams are competing in the race for the Democratic ballot spot for U.S. Congress District 2, since five-term Congressman Jared Polis (D-Boulder) has jumped into the Governor's race. Neguse, an attorney and theson of Eritrean immigrants, grew up in Littleton and served as regent for the University of Colorado (his alma mater) and works as executive director of Colorado's Department of Regulatory Agencies. Williams is the former Chair of the Boulder Democrats, but he has complained outside "meddling" from national Dems like former Vice President Joe Biden is keeping the race from being fair.
